How to adopt
Adoption is an act of love and commitment. Here we explain the whole process step by step.
The adoption process
1. Choose your companion
Browse our website or Instagram and find the animal you connect with. You can come meet them in person by appointment.
2. Contact us
Call us at 664 127 247, write to us at protectoraanimalsparets@gmail.com or send us a message on Instagram.
3. Visit and interview
Come meet the animal. We do an interview to learn about your lifestyle and make sure it is the best possible match.
4. Adoption contract
We sign the adoption contract. We are committed to doing post-adoption follow-up to make sure everything is going well.
5. Welcome home!
The animal goes with you! We offer advice for their adaptation and remain at your disposal for any questions.

Frequently asked questions
Can I adopt if I live in an apartment?
Yes! Many of our animals, especially cats and small dogs, adapt perfectly to apartment life. What matters is that you give them lots of love, exercise and attention.
What does the adoption include?
All animals are delivered vaccinated, dewormed, with a chip and sterilized (or with a sterilization commitment). You also receive advice for their adaptation.
Is there an adoption fee?
Yes, we ask for a symbolic fee that helps us cover part of the veterinary and maintenance expenses of the animal.
Can I return the animal if I do not adapt?
If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal can always return to the shelter. We prefer that you let us know before abandoning it again.
